Description
Our hotel was established in 1964, and we’ve hosted lots of happy families and children since then. The Astoria Comfort Hotel is located right in the heart of Andalo, one of the most family-friendly locations in the entire Trentino region! We organise excursions among the breathtaking scenery of the Dolomites in both the summer and the winter, including stroller-friendly walks, visits to the educational farm, mountain workshops, ski school lessons, and walks in the snow. Our goal is to make your holiday a memorable experience, with lots of family activities suitable for all ages!
Our entertainment staff is made up of trained professionals, who are dedicated to looking after your children and ensuring their complete safety, always engaging them in new activities under the supervision of the hotel’s mascot, Andalotto the Tiger! So, while the children are having fun making new friends, their parents can have some well-deserved relaxation time at the SPA and the Beauty Farm.
There are plenty of areas for fun activities here, including a well-equipped garden with a play area, colourful indoor play rooms, and three swimming pools for all tastes (why build one when you can have three?): one pool with a relaxing hot tub, one pool with children’s slides, and one large pool for swimming laps. And once you’ve dried off, be sure to drop in at our gourmet family restaurant, where meals are prepared daily using fresh local ingredients.

The staff is always ready to entertain your little ones with safe recreational activities designed for children of all ages, divided by age groups. Every day there are games and performances at the hotel, which alternate with excursions and open-air tours among the Trentino mountains. The lunches and dinners with the entertainment staff Monday through Sunday are an absolute must, as are the delicious themed evenings, including: the Schnitzel Party, the Pizza Party and Cena Golosa (the “Glutton’s Dinner”). Guests can also request the babysitting service, in order to organise a romantic evening, or an intimate dinner for two. |
Baby Club
Your children 1 to 3 years of age will have the opportunity to take part in completely new experiences every day. Up until 2:30 p.m., they can play with our nannies in the ball pit and in the soft corner dedicated to specifically to them.
Mini Club
Every day from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 p.m., our entertainment staff will keep your children 4 to 11 years of age busy in the various areas designed specifically for them, including the outdoor play areas, the indoor playground, the games room, and, of course, the pool! They’ll take part in athletic competitions, baby dance parties, small jobs, excursions, and games, all in complete safety. The guests’ children always look forward to lunchtime with the educators, because eating with friends is a lot more fun!
Junior Club
Here at the Astoria, there are also plenty of activities for older children 11 to 17 years of age! Our game room includes foosball, table tennis, air hockey, a soft play football field, and a T-Wall. We also organise outings with the entertainment staff, including trips to the go-karts, mountain bike excursions, and hikes through the lush Trentino wilderness.

Our cuisine consists of flavourful gourmet entrées from the Trentino region, all of which are meticulously prepared using fresh local products. We dedicate the utmost attention to the food we prepare, as we want all our guests to enjoy a wonderful culinary journey. That’s why we also offer gluten-free options, as well as delicious alternatives for those on special diets. From Monday to Saturday, our younger guests can enjoy lunch and dinner with the entertainment staff in the Andalotto room, which is designed specifically for them, complete with special tables and delicious children’s menu items. For younger children, parents will find bottle warmers, high chairs, and children’s cutlery, and for parents of infants there’s fresh broths and purées, baby food, children’s pasta, and meal… just tell us what your little ones would like to eat, and we’ll do our best to make sure you get everything you need” |
