Want us to help you discover the recipe for your ideal holiday at the Family Hotel Posta? The main ingredients are the mountains and the wonderful natural surroundings, to which we add a good dose of cheer and hospitality. And what’s the secret ingredient? Our guests’ beloved children, of course!
And speaking of the children, our entertainment staff love to pamper them with their activity programme at Villa Dumbo, our play room with a climbing wall, a kitchenette for making pizzas and biscuits, a crafting corner, educational toys, a cinema, five-a-side football, and video games for the older kids. Outside, on the other hand, there’s lots of fun to be hand on the colourful playground, complete with a pathway through the trees, the Timothy house, and the "Dumbo Boat".
Here at the Family Hotel Posta, we have two fantastic adjoining swimming pools: a smaller indoor pool, and a larger outdoor pool in the garden, which is heated to 30°C, where both adults and children can have lots of fun in the water, surrounded by a dream-like landscape of green meadows and majestic mountain peaks.
We also like to pamper mum and dad, with romantic couple’s treatments at the Spa, which includes a Finnish sauna overlooking the garden, a Turkish bath with aromatic herbs, and a hay bio sauna in the lodge. The Cinderella beauty centre is the kingdom of personal wellness for people of all ages, with massages, beauty treatments, and even children’s packages, like the “Children’s Magic” massage, and the “Hands & Feet” treatment. And for those who like to keep fit on holiday, the fitness centre is ideal, featuring modern equipment, including cardio and speed devices.
Every season, we offer a weekly programme of outdoor activities in close contact with nature, in order to offer our guests the chance to learn more about our natural surroundings. In the wintertime, there are excursions in the snow, including ski-guiding, ski-safaris, and snowshoeing, while in the summertime we offer guided excursions for the entire family, mountain barbecues, Nordic walking, and climbing courses.

1… 2… 3… let the fun begin! Here at the Family Hotel Posta, we have a super friendly entertainment staff dedicated to looking after all our guests’ children over 3 years of age, with a programme of activities held at the fantastic Villa Dumbo, as well as in the Dumbo Boat, the sandbox, and the Timothy House in the garden! In the wintertime, young skiers have the opportunity to take part in the "all day" skiing course, in order to learn how to ski from scratch, or improve their skills, together with their new holiday friends. The ski instructors come to pick up the children directly at the hotel, and bring them back once the course has been completed, entrusting them to our friendly entertainment staff. In the summertime, we organise lots of fun outdoor adventures twice a week for children 7 to 12 years of age. Together, we learn lots of fun facts about the woods, develop our sense of orientation, and go off in search of wild animal tracks. There are also lots of fun experiences to be enjoyed together with mum and dad, including guided hikes, pony rides at the stables, barbecues in the mountains, visits to the farm with food tastings, and treasure hunts in the garden. For infants there’s the Baby Dumbino room: a safe environment with padded floors and interactive toys, where they can have lots of fun with mum and dad.
At the Dumbo Club, we welcome children over 3 years of age to the fantastic Villa Dumbo, where they can play and have lots of fun with our entertainment staff, who offer an extensive activity programme Monday through Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., and on Sundays from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The children have the opportunity to enjoy crafts, cooking workshops, cartoons, and climbing wall challenges.
One corner of Villa Dumbo is even set aside for the older children, where they can take part in football and table tennis matches, and play video games.

Our cuisine is inspired by ancient recipes… to which our chefs add a modern touch. The day begins with a large breakfast buffet, complete with lots of delicacies, and even a vitality menu. For lunch, guests have the possibility of personalising their meals by choosing from among various traditional entrées, complete with low-calorie and vegetarian options. In the afternoons, we surprise our guests with a delicious buffet of homemade cakes, cured meats, and fresh fruits. For the children, there’s a table reserved for them, where they can enjoy delicious meals in the company of their friends and the entertainment staff. |
