“A family holiday mixed with well-being”, this is how we define an experience here at the Family & Wellness Hotel Belvedere in the centre of San Martino di Castrozza, where you can admire an idyllic view of the Pale di San Martino and the green valleys of the Dolomites. Our mission is to pamper you and help you get away from everyday life as soon as you cross the threshold of our family hotel: it’s us who’ll be taking care of you and your children here!
After returning from a day of skiing or a trip along the marvellous paths in the Pale di San Martino Nature Park, you can spend some time relaxing in the wellness centre for all the family: a splendid swimming pool heated to 31° C with hydromassage, countercurrent swimming, geyser and cervical waterfall, a mini swimming pool for children with water games, the wellness area with sauna, Turkish bath, sensory shower and the relaxation area with loungers overlooking the Dolomites all create a little magical luxury for adults and children.
We often say that “fun is something you learn from an early age”, that’s why we offer activities that allow children to have fun as real protagonists! As well as the summer and winter Family Fun programme, from Monday to Saturday there’s the Mini Club at the hotel for children aged from 4 to 12 years, with workshops and games organised by the entertainment staff. Children can also eat with the entertainers in a private room, so you can sit in peace and enjoy our dishes or a typical Trentino dinner that we organise every week.
We’re parents too, so we know how important it is to have time to relax, while the children are safe while having fun, making new friends and enjoying new experiences. In the same way, we know how wonderful it is to go on holiday with children and find everything you need at the hotel, which is why we make our baby services in your room and in the dining room, strollers and child carrier backpacks and a handy kitchen for making baby food available to you. Travelling light is the first step in the right direction towards enjoying your holiday!

The large Family Suites have simple, warm and functional furniture as well as a sensational view of the Pale di San Martino, which can be enjoyed from the balcony. The spaces are divided into a double room and a living area with two sofa beds, a table and a bench. Cots and small beds are available upon request.
Holidays are a time when children make new friends and start to enjoy playful experiences, with which they learn while having fun! For this reason, as well as the daily entertainment, we also subscribe to the Family Fun programme, in collaboration with the Tourism Promotion Agency!
In this way, children aged from 4 to 12 years can experience authentic holidays in close contact with nature. In summer, for example, there is climbing with the Alpine Guides, deer spotting like real baby rangers, the little herdsman day, guided tours along the Marmot Trail, workshops on mountain herbs, to share with parents.
In winter, the activities range from walks on the snow and ice skating to afternoons on snow rafts, sledges, bobsleighs and skiing courses with expert instructors. Children can get to the slopes on the special minibus dedicated to them!
After returning to the hotel, the fun goes on in the indoor games room or in the outdoor play area with an entertainer, or in our pool area with mum and dad, where, as well as the big heated pool, there’s also a mini-pool with water games for children.
For all children aged from 4 to 12 years, from Monday to Saturday from 5.30 pm to 10 pm. The entertainment also welcomes older children or toddlers, in this case accompanied by their parents.

Our cuisine is a combination of typical Trentino and international recipes, with gourmet-level dishes. A buffet breakfast is served from 7.45 am to 10:30 am, with sweet and savoury options, as well as organic, began, gluten free and lactose free products.
At dinner, there are 4 first courses and 4 second courses to choose from, served at the table and always accompanied by a buffet of appetisers and salads. We made our own pasta and desserts! Don’t miss our canederli (bread dumplings), spätzle (small pasta/dumplings), polenta and tosela cheese, tagliatelle pasta with porcini mushrooms and apple strudel, as well as local products such as speck from Trentino and typical mountain cheeses. If you love good wine, our sommelier will be by your side to choose the best regional and Italian wines.
Children can dine in a small dedicated room with the entertainer. We make personalised menus for them, with simple, tasty dishes and the Chef is always willing to make variations. If you are weaning a baby, you will find a kitchen here, with everything you need to make baby food.
