Welcome to the Hotel Il Cervo in Tarvisio, where, thanks our location bordering on Austria and Slovenia, guests and their families can enjoy a wonderful holiday experience that combines the cultural and culinary traditions of 3 different countries, all in close contact with nature.
Our entertainment staff, La Gang del Bosco (“The Forest Gang”), keep our guests’ children busy from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. in the colourful play area, with fun crafts, evenings at the cinema, and unforgettable shows. Mum and dad can therefore take the opportunity to relax at the Spa and wellness centre (with limited admission, for a fee), or in the Woodland Sauna, surrounded by the scent of the mountains, or to engage in fun outdoor activities. Otherwise everybody can choose to spend some fun time together in the panoramic heated indoor pool, which even includes a dedicated 6 m2 children area, with 60 cm deep water.
And what about the food? We love to entice our guests with an à la carte menu featuring lots of traditional entrées from the culinary traditions of the three countries whose borders meet in our area! For the little ones, there the Ristorantino al Boschetto: a gourmet area right inside our panoramic restaurant dedicated specifically to them, where they can enjoy special kids’ menu items, complete with lots of excellent options to choose from. And children can even eat with the babysitter so their parents can enjoy a romantic dinner for two. And upon request we’ll even prepare delicious picnic baskets for your family excursions or bike rides through the mountain paths and villages, to be enjoyed wherever you prefer.
In the summertime, we organise a happy hour with a barbecue on our terrace overlooking the town of Tarvisio, while in the wintertime guests can enjoy an aperitif at our Nordic style bar, or in the comfortable lounge area, which even includes a library corner.
Families will also enjoy maximum comfort at bedtime, thanks to our spacious rooms and suites, where we provide baby kits for their children.

Mini Club
Fun and creative activities for all children 3 to 12 years of age, with drawing, crafts, trampoline, and ball pit, all in our colourful indoor play area, where the fun never ends! The entertainment staff also organise afternoon walks to explore Tarvisio and its ancient forest.

We meticulously select fresh local products, and even use the herbs that we grow directly in our greenhouse. The day begins with a large breakfast buffet with homemade cakes and delicious croissants, fresh baked bread, local jams, yoghurt, tasty cereals, and savoury dishes. At the restaurant, guests can gaze at a splendid panoramic view while enjoying the entrées from our à la carte menu, where we dedicate attention to those who suffer from food intolerances and Celiac disease. The children dine together with mum and dad at the “Ristorantino al Boschetto” (even with flexible hours at 12 p.m. and 7 p.m., upon request), where they can choose from our gourmet children’s options. For infants, we prepare baby foods and broths based on the parents’ instructions. |
