Situated right in the heart of the South Tyrolean Dolomites, in the Obereggen ski area, near picturesque Lake Carezza, the Exploring Family Hotel Maria in Nova Ponente is the ideal place to enjoy a pleasant family holiday experience in the mountains… all year round! Come and discover the natural wonders and breathtaking panoramic views that the Catinaccio-Latemar massif have to offer, together with your whole family! Our guests’ children will have the opportunity to explore the natural surroundings accompanied by our expert guides, where they can take part in lots of adventurous outdoor activities amid the spectacular alpine landscape, including explorers’ camps, climbing adventures, and fun cycling tours. In the wintertime, they can take part in ski lessons with the instructors on the slopes at the Baby Sci Yeticlub, directly opposite the hotel. We also offer lots of services and amenities for our littlest guests, with off-road strollers, baby carriers, a babysitting service, and an indoor pool, where they can have fun splashing around in the 30 cm deep water, or can take swimming lessons with Freds Swim Academy. Upon returning from the slopes or a hike, guests can sit back and relax in our indoor panoramic swimming pool, or perhaps even indulge in some personal wellness in our Biosauna, Finnish sauna, and experience showers. And in the wintertime families can spend fun days in the snow, on the ski slopes directly opposite the hotel! |

Whether at breakfast, lunch, the afternoon snack, or the four-course dinner, we only serve our guests exclusively high-quality local products, and are always highly attentive to the needs of those with food allergies and intolerances. There are also lots of evening culinary events held throughout the week, including one evening dedicated to South Tyrolean specialties and aperitifs. The hotel’s owner is even a passionate sommelier, and loves to offer suggestions on our exceptional Italian wines. We also always offer special menu items for our younger guests, complete with lots of children’s favourites to be enjoyed directly at the children’s table in the company of our expert staff, as well as fresh baby foods prepared daily for infants. |
