Description
Standing up to the absurd assumption that it can’t be Christmas every day, the Mirtillo Rosso Family Hotel goes against the grain, and poses itself as the only family hotel where guests will find the warm and magical atmosphere of December 25th all year round! In fact, as the first Christmas hotel in all of Italy, located in Alagna Valsevia, the hotel is built entirely of wood, in compliance with the eco-sustainability standards, and is designed to offer parents and children up to 12 years of age an unforgettable holiday experience, complete with a SPA for mum and dad, and a wellness and playtime area to be enjoyed all together! All right at the foot of Monte Rosa, in an atmosphere that’s dominated by the traditional Walser architectural style.
In fact, at the Sogni d’Oro Spa, guests can relax with their children in the large 400 m2 area intended exclusively for families, or else with their spouses in the 300 m2 reserved exclusively for the parents. The tubs and swimming pools are all heated to 34°. In order to ensure fun and well-being for everyone at the most convenient time, a maximum of 15 families at a time are permitted enter the Spa!
And if mum and dad want to take some alone time all to themselves, they can book wellness treatments and rituals, or else can visit the adult SPA, where they can relax in the indoor and outdoor pools, and the Epsom salt pool.

We believe that entertainment, festivities, and friendship go hand in hand! Above all else, the “Every day is Christmas” concept means spending time together, laughing and playing, and telling one another about our daily adventures. There are lots of surprises and events organised by our entertainment staff. The children make friends right away, and their parents soon find new friends to chat with, and spend a few days of their holiday together! Every day the entertainment staff organises at least two excursions for small groups of guests, even stroller accessible! |
Baby Club
At our Baby Club, which is open to children 1 to 3 years of age every day from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., our qualified staff keep our guests’ little ones busy with games, entertainment, snacks, naps, and outdoor activities in the new playground in the garden!
Our nannies look after the guests’ children from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., so mum and dad can enjoy a romantic dinner alone together, and there’s even a personalised babysitting service available for a fee for babies from up to 11 months of age, which must be booked in advance.
Mini Club
For children over 4 years of age, the “Villaggio di Milla” is open every day from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.! We split the children up into two age groups (4 to 6 years of age, and 7 years and up) in order to provide entertainment services in small groups, with tailored activities, including creative and cooking workshops, and outdoor games in the garden.
Junior Club
What happens when you combine magic and technology? That’s right! The elves at the Mirtillo Rosso have become friends with the “inventors” of Nintendo! This partnership gave rise to the first Nintendo Hub at a Family Hotel in Italy.
The Nintendo Hub technology workshop is open to children over 10 years of age every afternoon from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., offering them the opportunity to delve into the magical world of the Nintendo Labo Hub: a technology workshop where they can create fantastic Toycons! At the Mirtillo Rosso, guests have the opportunity to enjoy a relaxing holiday experience surrounded by nature together with their families, also thanks to the activities organised by the entertainment staff.
Our mascot Rudolf
Hi! This is our mascot, Rudolf! Santa Claus’s red-nosed reindeer, who lights the way for the sled during snow storms. Here, however, all the children call him Mirtillo Rosso, because of his funny red nose. Mirtillo Rosso has a fun-loving personality that reflects all of the hotel’s values: joy, sharing, affection, smiles, wonder, surprise, harmony, and lots of fun. Come and meet him! The cuisine consists of gourmet entrées designed to appeal to people of all ages, made with local products and served à la carte, while the Christmas Room area open for dinnertime and the bar area visible from the restaurant allow families to spend time together just like at home.
